Terms & Conditions

Last updated May 2026

These terms cover bridal bouquets ordered through this website. By placing an order you're agreeing to them, so please give them a read — and reach out any time if something isn't clear.

Who you're ordering from

Florals by QL is a floral design studio based in North Beach, San Francisco, operated by Quinn Li ("we," "us," "QL"). These terms apply to bouquets you design and pay for through this site. You can always reach us at orders@qlflorals.com.

Placing an order & payment

When you complete the order form, you pay the full amount up front through our payment processor, Stripe. Your order is confirmed the moment payment succeeds, and we hold your chosen date in our schedule for you.

Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable California sales tax. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if a date is no longer available, if details can't be fulfilled, or if we suspect fraudulent or abusive use.

Lead time & availability

Because every bouquet is made fresh to order, dates require a minimum lead time, and some blooms (such as peonies) need extra notice. We also cap how many arrangements we take on per day so each one gets the attention it deserves. The order form only lets you pick dates we can actually deliver on.

Fresh flowers & substitutions

Flowers are a natural product. Exact varieties, stems, and color tones vary with the season, the markets, and what arrives in peak condition on the day. We treat your color palette, must-have flowers, and inspiration as a guide, and we'll always aim for the overall look and feel you asked for. If a specific flower you requested isn't available or isn't up to our standard, we'll substitute a comparable bloom of equal or greater value. If you list flowers to avoid, we won't use them.

Pickup & delivery

For pickup orders, we'll share the North Beach pickup address and coordinate timing in your confirmation email. For delivery, you're responsible for giving us a complete, accurate address within our delivery range and making sure someone can receive the bouquet at the requested time. Fresh flowers are time-sensitive, so if a delivery can't be completed because no one is available or the address is wrong, we may not be able to re-attempt it, and re-delivery isn't guaranteed.

Changes & date shifts

Plans change — that's okay. We're happy to shift your date at no charge whenever we can, subject to our availability and existing orders, so don't hesitate to reach out as early as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate changes to colors, flowers, or add-ons too, though changes close to your date may not be possible once flowers are ordered.

Cancellations & refunds

We understand things come up. Our refund policy reflects that we reserve your date and order flowers specifically for you:

  • 30 or more days before your date: you'll receive a full refund less a $50 holding fee (we held your date and turned away other bookings for it).
  • Within 30 days of your date: if we haven't yet ordered your flowers, you'll receive a 50% refund. If your flowers have already been ordered, we're unable to offer a cash refund — but you're welcome to receive the finished bouquet and/or your flowers unarranged if you'd like.
  • A free date shift is almost always a better option than cancelling — please ask.

To cancel or change an order, just email orders@qlflorals.com and we'll take care of you.

If something isn't right

We want you to love your bouquet. If anything looks off when you receive it, contact us the same day with a photo so we can make it right. Because flowers are perishable and continue to open and change after handoff, we can't take responsibility for the natural life cycle of the blooms or for handling and storage once a bouquet is in your care.

Care, allergies & safety

Bouquets are decorative and not intended for eating. Flowers and foliage can trigger allergies and aren't safe for pets or children to ingest — please keep that in mind, especially around little ones and animals. Keep your bouquet cool, out of direct sun, and in fresh water where possible.

Your photos & our photos

When you upload inspiration images or links, you confirm you have the right to share them with us, and you give us permission to use them solely to design your bouquet. We may photograph the finished arrangements we create for our portfolio and marketing; if you'd rather we didn't, just let us know and we'll respect that.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't legally be waived.

Governing law & updates

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. We may update them from time to time; the version posted here at the time of your order is the one that applies. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
